About Inside the Gamecocks The Show
Inside the Gamecocks The Show is a three-hour live show that airs Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. eastern with a focus on University of South Carolina Gamecocks athletics and other relevant sports topics.
The Show features one of the best line-ups in South Carolina sports talk broadcast.
THE POWER TRIO
Jamie Bradford, a veteran sports talk personality who hails from the Palmetto State and is a lifelong Gamecock, is the host. Previously he worked for ESPN Charleston and also had a daily talk show “JB and Goldwater” in recent years. Bradford, well known in the South Carolina market, is the primary host of The Show and is also a former college baseball player.
JC Shurburtt is the co-owner of TheBigSpur.com, the market-leading 247Sports/CBS Sports affiliated site that exclusively covers the South Carolina Gamecocks. Shurburtt spent 15 years covering college football recruiting on a national level for 247Sports, ESPN and Rivals and has been featured nationally in broadcast and print for his analysis of the subject. He started TBS in 2007 and ITG in 2019. Shurburtt also is featured on JC and Morgan on the Chief Sports Network. Shurburtt has previously been a co-host on local radio in both the Columbia and Greenville-Spartanburg markets and was a featured co-host on Sirius XM College during his recruiting days at 247Sports in Nashville, Tenn.
Phil “Mad Dog” Mullinax is the producer and co-host of The Show and also produces other shows for Chief Sports, including JC and Morgan and the Late Night Gamecock Show. Mullinax joined the team in the summer of 2022 as Shurburtt’s original co-host and producer. Mullinax has a strong business background and is one of the top producers and witty sidekicks in the business and also is a die-hard Gamecock fan.
REGULAR GUEST CO-HOSTS
Mike Morgan returns to the South Carolina market after a 14-year hiatus. Morgan previously was the host of the award-winning Columbia-originated show “The Cheap Seats” before embarking on a career that currently has him calling college athletics for ESPN and the SEC Network and certain NFL games on national radio. Morgan co-hosts The Show twice weekly for “The Power Hour” and also the “Love Chevrolet Drive around the SEC”. Beloved in the Carolina market, Morgan brings the extra heat for the Gamecock audience during his time on the show.
Matt Anderson is the host of the Late Night Gamecock Show and contributes to TheBigSpur.com. A Florence native, Anderson brings a unique perspective to Carolina athletics and drops in on The Show for at least one hour-long stint per week. Anderson is a Fantasy Football expert and a veteran podcaster who launched the popular “Men who do Walt Disney World Podcast” with his brother. He co-hosts Late Night with Alex Jones of TheBigSpur.com
Chad Holbrook is the head baseball coach at Charleston, the former head baseball coach at South Carolina and is the host of Chin Music, a music, sports and leadership podcast on the Chief Sports Network. Holbrook joins The Show almost weekly to talk about the latest happenings and co-hosted The Show’s NCAA Baseball Tournament preview in 2024.
