Only one of South Carolina’s 25 inbound transfer portal players is not going into at least his third season of college football and most of the eight-man offensive line haul consists of fifth or sixth year players. This could not only match what many feel is a trend in college football (older is better), but could also provide some needed veteran leadership for the 2026 Gamecocks who are seeking a major turnaround under head coach Shane Beamer.
