Phil Kornblut and company keep right on rolling up until a huge kickoff weekend in the state of South Carolina. If it’s Clemson-LSU or South Carolina-Virginia Tech or any of the other teams in the Palmetto State, Sports Talk is chatting about it. 8 p.m.: The Late Night Gamecock Show
Matt Anderson, the Late Night Gamecock himself, and Alex Jones of TheBigSpur.com bring the facts and the stats on Late Night. Matt has a deep dive into the Virginia Tech Hokies. For one half of the show, Hokies insider and beat reporter Kolby Crawford of VTScoop.com (247Sports) jumps on with the boys to give the latest out of Blacksburg.

Released This Morning: A Holtz-era star
One of the biggest names to come out of “The New DBU” this century, former NFL Rookie of the Year cornerback Dunta Robinson joins Stephen Garcia and Pat DiMarco on this week’s episode of Tailgate Talks. Robinson, from Athens, Ga., was an unheralded recruit in the tradition of Sheldon Brown, Andre Goodman, Darius Rush and a host of other Gamecock defensive backs to get to the highest level of the sport, but starred under former coach Lou Holtz before being a first-round pick of the Houston Texans in the 2004 NFL Draft.
