The Federal Trade Commission sent letters today to 20 NCAA D1 schools about whether sports agents who work with athletes have complied with requirements of the Sports Agent Responsibility and Trust Act, which requires specific disclosures to athletes and notice to schools.
I am noticing the business aspect coming into play much more this cycle now that rev share is a thing. More players getting flat-out cut, others being offered markedly less than they made the year before because the production was not as expected so they hit the portal.
